Seoul & San Francisco, October 23, 2025 — Aria, the onchain IP protocol enabling investors to access and earn from iconic IP real-world assets, is expanding into additional creative areas with the announcement of a partnership with Sedition, the leading platform for experiencing, collecting, and streaming digital art.
Aria’s strategic partnership with Sedition marks its first exploration into the visual art world and its associated IP. This alliance connects Aria’s Web3-focused RWA investors and creative community with Sedition’s globally recognized contemporary art platform. Sedition’s pioneering model shows that artists can monetize and earn royalties from streaming art, which aligns perfectly with Aria’s vision for a more open and equitable creative economy.
As part of the partnership, Aria will initiate a visual art grant program. Created artworks will be added to Sedition, with streaming income rights tokenized on Aria. Royalties will be shared between the artists and Aria IP RWA token holders. Under this model, Aria will incorporate visual art into its IP RWA portfolios, empowering artists and investors by creating new pathways for patronage, licensing, and monetization through technology. In addition to the visual art grant program, Aria and Sedition will co-host and sponsor contemporary art events across the globe in the near future. Look for further details to be announced soon.
This collaboration underscores Aria’s belief that all forms of creative IP are powerful vehicles for accessing and activating IP RWA’s for investors, rights holders, and co-creators. This is the first of many strategic moves Aria will make to build bridges between creative industries and financial infrastructure, where creative works are not static; they are assets that can generate access, value, and liquidity.
“Our mission at Sedition has always been to give artists new ways to bring their work to life in the digital world,” says Dyl Blaquiere, CEO of Sedition. “What Aria is building really resonates with that vision. It’s not just about putting art onchain, it’s about creating sustainable ecosystems where artists can earn from their IP, build their audience, and stay connected to their collectors. In this model, art isn’t static – it becomes a living, dynamic asset.”
“Aria’s partnership with Sedition marks our entrance into the visual art world and its unique forms of IP. It’s the first step in our broader mission to build a new financial framework for the creative industries. Together, we’re demonstrating how creative IP can evolve into a dynamic asset class that’s experienced, shared, and monetized in ways that create value for creators, patrons, and investors alike,” says David Kostiner, Aria Co-Founder and Chief IP Officer.
