The order covers Mobix Labs’ high-reliability filtering component. The part is designed to protect and stabilize sensitive electronics onboard the missile by reducing electromagnetic interference during operation.
The company described the award as a direct result of increased procurement tied to ongoing missile production. As Tomahawk manufacturing volumes rise, the need for Mobix Labs’ qualified components rises with it.
Mobix Labs says it is already embedded in the Tomahawk program — not a new entrant. This is an existing supplier relationship that is scaling, not a fresh contract win from scratch.
CEO Phil Sansone framed it clearly. “We are already integrated into the Tomahawk program, and as production volumes increase, demand for our proven high-reliability filtering component increases alongside it,” he said.
He added: “That is the advantage of being a qualified, production-ready supplier on an active U.S. defense platform where demand scales into larger orders.”
What the Tomahawk Order Means for MOBX
