Bitcoin (BTC) traded below $82,000 after the Wall Street open on Monday. Crypto moved apart from stocks and bond yields, which both climbed.

TradingView data showed BTC/USD dipping to $81,678 on Bitstamp. The pair had reached $83,062 earlier in the day.
Ask orders piled up above $83,000 on exchange order books. CoinGlass data showed this wall of sell orders pushing the price lower. Cross-crypto liquidations totaled $335 million over 24 hours.
Stocks started the week higher. The Nasdaq Composite gained 1.5% in early trading, and South Korea’s KOSPI finished 1.76% higher at 5,768 points.
US bond yields rose along with stocks. The 10-year yield reached 5.13% and the 30-year hit 5.46%. Meta, SpaceX and Tesla are due to report earnings on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Analysts Watch the $80,000 Level
Trading firm QCP Capital said bond-market stability is key to any Bitcoin upside. It warned that a repeat of last week’s tech sell-off could hit crypto too.
“Broader equity deleveraging dynamics could transmit to cryptocurrency markets and potentially threaten the $80,000 support level if sustained,” the firm wrote. It added that a Treasury rally could help risk assets.
Analyst Ash Crypto said in his weekly analysis that BTC held the $80,000 support. Bitcoin closed the week down just 2%, while the Nasdaq fell 5% and the semiconductor index dropped over 11%.

He noted BTC has closed above the 50-week moving average for five weeks in a row. He said the bull run stays intact while price holds that average near $76,100. He listed support at $80,000 and $76,000, and resistance at $84,000 and $87,500.
Trader Daan Crypto Trades called it “not the worst weekly candle in the end.” He said Bitcoin is still sitting in a major support and resistance zone. He expects a decisive move soon, as broader markets look volatile.
$BTC Not the worst weekly candle in the end. Still trading at the big support & resistance area.
Do think we'll see a decisive move here pretty soon, especially since markets in general are pretty volatile and are looking for a bigger move soon. pic.twitter.com/2TvV6yYzqp

On the hourly chart, BTC got rejected right at $83K and slipped back toward $81.7K. That is a tight range, and the sell wall is doing its job for now. Bulls need a clean push through $83,000 to open the way to $84,000. Watch the $80,000 floor next, since a break there puts $76,000 in play.
US-Iran Talks and Whale Activity
CoinGape cited Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, which reported that a US-Iran deal could be announced this week. Neither government has confirmed an agreement. The sides remain split on sanctions, maritime limits and Iran’s nuclear work.
Brent crude fell toward $108 a barrel on Monday, and WTI traded near $101. Bitcoin would need to gain about 9.1% from $82,500 to reach $90,000.
