Amazon Pharmacy added Eli Lilly’s newly approved weight-loss pill Foundayo to its platform on April 9, making it available for same-day delivery and in-clinic pickup across the U.S.

Foundayo is an oral GLP-1 medication approved for adults with obesity or overweight conditions with related health problems. Unlike injectable GLP-1 drugs, the pill does not require refrigeration, which makes it easier to store and distribute through kiosks.
Amazon Pharmacy has been delivering GLP-1 medications since 2021. It added Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy pill to kiosks in January 2026, and Foundayo is the second oral GLP-1 to join that program.
Insured customers can access Foundayo starting at $25 per month, or $1 per day. Cash-pay pricing starts at $149 per month. Amazon automatically applies any available manufacturer coupons before checkout.
Tanvi Patel, Vice President and General Manager of Amazon Pharmacy, said the service is working to reduce barriers for patients trying to access weight management treatments.
Same-day delivery is currently available in nearly 3,000 cities and towns. Amazon invested over $4 billion in 2025 to expand its delivery network, with a goal of reaching 4,500 locations by the end of 2026. Rural and remote customers will have access to next-day, two-day, or three-day delivery options.
In-Clinic Kiosks at One Medical
Amazon plans to introduce in-office kiosks at select One Medical locations. Customers will be able to receive Foundayo within minutes after a medical appointment, without waiting for a delivery.
The Wegovy pill kiosk rollout began in California across five One Medical locations. Patel said future kiosk placements may extend beyond Amazon-owned clinics to other providers, depending on state regulations.
Patients do not need a One Medical membership to book an appointment or use the kiosks. A one-year membership costs $199 for those who want ongoing access to the primary care service.
LillyDirect and Partner Prescribers
Amazon Pharmacy fulfills prescriptions placed through LillyDirect, Eli Lilly’s direct-to-consumer platform. Customers can also access same-day delivery through Lilly’s prescribing partners, including WeightWatchers.
Laura Steele, Group Vice President of U.S. Cardiometabolic Health at Eli Lilly, said patients may be able to receive Foundayo the same day or pick it up directly at their doctor’s office.
Lilly began selling Foundayo at $149 per month for the lowest dose through LillyDirect last week for cash-pay customers.
Amazon Pharmacy provides 24/7 access to licensed pharmacists and offers ongoing care management through Amazon One Medical, including clinical evaluations and treatment recommendations.
Amazon (AMZN) stock was up approximately 3.5% on the day the Foundayo partnership was announced.
