BTDR Stock Gains After Product Launch
BTDR started the session under pressure, but the shares recovered as the launch reached the market. The stock moved back above $17.90, which showed stronger demand after the early decline. The move came as Bitdeer introduced a machine built for industrial mining sites.
Bitdeer trades on Nasdaq and develops technology for Bitcoin mining and AI computing infrastructure. The company also operates data centers in the United States, Norway, Bhutan and Ethiopia. The DL1 Hydro fits its wider focus on high-density computing and mining capacity.
The share move followed a difficult first-quarter earnings update from the company. Bitdeer reported an EPS loss of $0.68, missing the expected loss of $0.37. However, revenue rose 170% year over year to $188.9 million, though it missed market estimates.
SEALMINER DL1 Hydro Targets Scrypt Mining
The SEALMINER DL1 Hydro uses Bitdeer’s proprietary ASIC technology with a hydro-cooling thermal management system. It supports Scrypt algorithm mining for Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bellscoin, Junkcoin, Luckycoin, and Pepecoin. In addition, the design targets stable output in high-density data center environments.
The standard machine delivers 52.5 GH/s with power efficiency of 149 J/GH. It also consumes 7,823 watts of power under its base configuration. Besides, the machine uses a 2U form factor and weighs 21 kilograms.
Bitdeer added two performance modes to help operators manage power costs and network conditions. High Hashrate Mode reaches 55 GH/s at 157 J/GH when operators need higher output. Low Power Mode delivers 42.5 GH/s at 132 J/GH for better energy efficiency.
The hydro-cooling system helps manage heat from dense racks and sustained mining loads. Consequently, the machine targets professional facilities that need stable equipment across large deployments. This approach also supports Bitdeer’s push toward more efficient mining hardware.
Bitdeer said final product performance may differ from listed specifications after delivery. The company noted possible variation in hashrate, power efficiency, and power consumption. Even so, the DL1 Hydro broadens Bitdeer’s hardware line beyond Bitcoin-focused services.
The launch gives Bitdeer another product tied to Litecoin and Dogecoin mining demand. It also strengthens the company’s position in mining infrastructure during a difficult earnings backdrop. Hence, BTDR’s gain reflected renewed attention on Bitdeer’s product pipeline and operational strategy.
