Solana (SOL) is currently trading at $76.20, a long way from its all-time high of $293.31 set on January 18, 2025. The token has pulled back alongside the broader crypto market over the past year, driven by macro pressures and rising interest rate concerns.

Despite the dip, whale activity is picking up. On-chain data from Lookonchain shows a previously dormant wallet returned to the market after nearly two years, purchasing 47,535 SOL for approximately $3.6 million.
This same wallet accumulated 291,790 SOL back in 2023 at an average price of $23.37. It later sold 191,789 SOL at around $128.36, banking over $20 million in profit. The latest buy suggests renewed confidence at current price levels.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel points to the $40–$60 range as a potential accumulation zone if SOL sees further downside. He sees long-term targets of $300, $500, and $1,000 as possible, though he notes these depend on stronger adoption and liquidity conditions.
Do You Think We'll See $SOL Under $60 Again in The Next 4-5 Years? 🤔
My Best Accumulation Zone: $60 – $40
Targets: $300 | $500 | $1000Patience pays. Accumulate when others panic.

Analyst Sentiment and Social Buzz
Crypto analyst CryptoCurb posted a pointed take on X, noting that it has now been 581 days since the cycle top — longer than the 420-day peak-to-trough period seen last cycle. He argued that “Solana has bottomed” and that bears waiting for a lower entry “are going to be forced buyers at much higher prices,” calling for SOL to reach $1,000+.

Separately, The Motley Fool’s Leo Sun put out a more measured forecast, predicting SOL could return to $200 within two years. Sun points to Solana’s transaction speed advantage over Ethereum, its growing role in stablecoin settlements, and institutional adoption as key drivers.
Institutional Interest Growing
BlackRock has deployed tokenized funds on Solana. Visa, Shopify, and Stripe all use the network for stablecoin-based payments and fiat-to-crypto onramps.
The Solana Foundation’s chief product officer Virbu Norby has described Solana’s potential as becoming the “Netflix or Amazon of finance” as its ecosystem expands.
Regulatory Tailwinds
The CLARITY Act, currently moving through U.S. legislative channels, aims to establish a clear federal framework for digital assets. If passed, it could remove uncertainty around whether SOL is classified as a security or commodity.
Spot Solana ETFs were approved last year and are expected to bring in additional retail and institutional flows.
SOL’s 24-hour trading volume sits at $1.37 million with a market cap of $44.41 billion.
