Every lawmaker on the list previously voted to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, known as the CLARITY Act, through the House. The legislation aims to set federal rules for digital assets and define the regulatory roles of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The endorsements are bipartisan. Republicans Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, and Warren Davidson are included alongside Democrats Ritchie Torres, Jim Costa, and Josh Gottheimer. Competitive-district lawmakers like Arizona’s Juan Ciscomani and Pennsylvania’s Brian Fitzpatrick also made the list.
Tom Emmer serves as House Majority Whip. Glenn “GT” Thompson chairs the House Agriculture Committee. Bryan Steil leads the digital assets subcommittee within the House Financial Services Committee.
CLARITY Act Still Waiting on Senate
The CLARITY Act passed the House but has not moved forward in the Senate. Senators remain divided over several provisions, and negotiations have stretched on for months without a resolution.
Crypto companies have made passing the bill a top policy priority. Stand With Crypto’s endorsements are aimed at keeping supportive House members in office while pressure builds on the Senate.
Steven Horsford introduced the bipartisan PARITY Act this year. Bill Huizenga cosponsored both the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Warren Davidson introduced the Bitcoin for America Act last year.
Crypto Spending Climbs Ahead of November
Stand With Crypto says it has more than 3 million registered U.S. advocates. Executive Director Mason Lynaugh said the group has shifted its focus from proving crypto voters exist to demonstrating real organizing power.
“In 2024 we were very much proving that the crypto voter is real,” Lynaugh said. “In 2026 we’re very much showing that we have the organizing capacity and that our advocates are a true voting bloc that can move the needle.”
The group’s endorsements do not come with direct campaign contributions. However, lawmakers who earn top ratings from Stand With Crypto often receive financial support from industry-backed super PACs.
The Fairshake super PAC, the leading crypto political spending group, says it has $122 million ready for the run-up to November. Fairshake already supported 49 winning candidates during the primaries.
Total crypto political spending for the 2026 cycle has reached close to $200 million across all industry-backed groups, up from roughly $170 million spent during the 2024 election cycle.
Stand With Crypto plans to announce Senate endorsements and picks for non-incumbent candidates closer to Election Day.
