ChronoScale (CHRN) stock jumped 7.28% to $22.69 in pre-market trading on Wednesday after the company announced a planned 50-megawatt AI compute deployment with Microsoft (MSFT) in North America.
The deal will use NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems paired with liquid-cooling infrastructure built for high-density AI workloads. The setup is designed to handle the thermal and operational demands of next-generation accelerated computing clusters.
ChronoScale CEO Cenly Chen called the partnership a reflection of the company’s focus on building AI infrastructure at scale.
“This planned 50 MW deployment reflects our focus on building AI infrastructure for the density and scale of accelerated computing,” Chen said.
Microsoft stock was up 0.95% around the same time.
What the Deployment Involves
The project integrates compute, networking, storage, software, and data center infrastructure into a single full-stack system. The liquid-cooling design is meant to manage heat output from NVIDIA’s accelerated computing clusters, which are used for both AI training and inference workloads.
NVIDIA’s Vice President of Global AI Clouds and Infrastructure Ecosystem, Raj Mirpuri, said the GB300 NVL72 systems will give developers and enterprises the tools to “train and deploy frontier and open-source AI at scale.”
Mirpuri also noted that next-generation AI clouds need to function as full-stack AI factories, delivering more intelligence per watt and lowering token costs over time.
ChronoScale describes itself as an accelerated compute platform built specifically to support AI workloads. Its platform is designed to deploy large-scale accelerated computing capacity.
Terms and Timeline Not Disclosed
The announcement did not include financial details or a projected timeline for the deployment. No revenue figures, contract values, or completion dates were shared by either company.
ChronoScale issued the news via a press release on August 27, 2026. The company is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.
The partnership brings together ChronoScale’s infrastructure development experience with Microsoft’s global cloud and AI operations.
CHRN was trading at $22.69 in pre-market, up 7.28% on the day of the announcement. Microsoft (MSFT) was up 0.95% during the same period.
