TLDR
- Meta (META) stock rose about 3% on Monday, with some reports citing gains near 4% in afternoon trading.
- The company launched two AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, which it calls its most capable yet.
- Artificial Analysis scored Wonder Full at 56 and Wonder at 52 on its Intelligence Index.
- Abacus.AI CEO Bindu Reddy disputed the performance claims and said detailed benchmarks will follow.
- Wonder costs $4 per million input tokens, while Wonder Full requires a $50 or $200 monthly Muse Code plan.
Meta (META) stock rose 3.38% on Monday after the company launched two new AI models. Some reports put the gain near 4% during afternoon trading. The move came as Meta tried to compete harder with OpenAI and Anthropic.
The models are called Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. Meta describes them as its most capable AI models to date. It also called them a step toward “personal superintelligence.”
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has spent the past year pledging billions of dollars to AI. He also hired away researchers from rivals to close the gap. Monday’s launch is the latest result of that push.
Meta said in a blog post that the overhaul began 14 months ago. “We’ve gone from rebuilding our foundations to pushing the frontier,” the company wrote. That is a big claim, and outside testers are already weighing in.
How the New Models Score
The models add two features Meta calls Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory carries useful information from one conversation to the next. Active Focus helps the agent stay on hard tasks for longer.

Artificial Analysis scored Wonder Full at 56 on its Intelligence Index. The standard Wonder model scored 52. Both numbers came at maximum reasoning effort.
That puts Wonder Full ahead of Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra, which each scored 53. It still sits below Claude Opus 5.5, which scored 58. So Meta lands near the top, but not at it.
Not everyone agrees with the early results. Bindu Reddy, CEO of Abacus.AI, said on X that Muse Wonder was “nowhere near Fable or Astra level.” Her firm runs its own model tests.
Reddy said detailed benchmark results would follow. Those numbers could either back up or challenge the Artificial Analysis scores. Traders will likely watch for them.
Pricing and Access
Meta’s new models are its most expensive so far. The standard Wonder model costs $4 per million input tokens. That matches Claude Opus 5.5.
It is cheaper than two rivals. GPT-6 Astra charges $10 per million input tokens, and Claude Fable 5.1 charges $50. Meta is pitching Wonder as the lower-cost option.
Wonder Full is more restricted. Only subscribers to Muse Code’s $50 a month “power usage” tier or its $200 a month “maximum usage” tier can get it. Muse Code is Meta’s AI coding tool.
The standard Wonder model will soon power Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent. It will reach subscribers first. Meta rolled out Muse successfully last month.
That rollout gave Meta a possible path to earn money from its heavy AI spending through subscriptions. Concerns over user privacy have followed the product. Meta has not yet addressed those concerns in its launch announcement.
As of Monday’s close, Meta stock was up 3.38%. Artificial Analysis has Wonder Full at 56 on its Intelligence Index, and Abacus.AI says full benchmark results are coming.
