Oracle (ORCL) shares jumped 6.81% to $125.76 after the company expanded its artificial intelligence partnership with Google Cloud. The agreement will bring Google’s Gemini models into Oracle Fusion Applications and NetSuite. The move strengthens Oracle’s enterprise software position as companies seek wider model choice and lower automation costs.
Gemini Models Enter Oracle AI Agent Studio
Oracle plans to add Gemini models to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications. Customers and partners will use the models to build agents and automate business processes. The platform already supports Oracle, partner, and external agents through reusable development tools.
The expanded access will give users more options for matching models with specific workloads. Gemini models will support reasoning, automation, presentations, video creation and other multimodal tasks. Oracle will also continue offering models from other major providers within the same environment.
Oracle expects the integration to help companies automate approvals, decisions, and transactions. Fusion Applications will connect model outputs with governed workflows across core business functions. This structure allows companies to move from analysis into controlled actions inside existing systems.
Fusion and NetSuite Gain Embedded Gemini Features
Oracle also plans to embed Gemini models across Fusion Applications and NetSuite. The company will select models based on cost, speed, and workload requirements. This approach will support different use cases without relying on one model for every task.
Fusion Applications cover finance, human resources, supply chains, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer service. Gemini could support forecasting, document processing, workflow automation, and operational analysis across these areas. Oracle has not announced a full release schedule for every planned integration.
NetSuite could use Gemini to improve visibility and automate routine work for growing businesses. The software already uses artificial intelligence across finance, operations, and customer management tools. Oracle expects added model choice to improve performance across selected NetSuite workflows.
Partnership Builds on Existing Cloud Access
The latest agreement extends an existing partnership between Oracle and Google Cloud. Customers already access Gemini models through OCI Enterprise AI and related integrations. The expansion moves those capabilities closer to Oracle’s application users and daily business workflows.
Oracle operates one of the largest enterprise application portfolios across global companies. Its Fusion suite combines data, workflows, controls, and automation within one cloud platform. NetSuite serves smaller companies through integrated finance, commerce, inventory, and operations software.
The partnership could strengthen Oracle’s competition against other enterprise software providers expanding automated business tools. It also gives Google Cloud broader access to Oracle’s large application customer base. Oracle will now focus on delivering Gemini features across practical and governed business use cases.
