Sui (SUI) dropped below the $1.00 level on Oct. 15 as a broad crypto selloff pushed altcoins lower. On the Binance daily chart, SUI opened near $1.022 and reached about $1.025. It then fell as low as $0.963 and traded around $0.977.

The token is down roughly 4.3% on the day. The drop follows a September rally that took SUI from around $0.68 to almost $1.30.
The rising trendline that supported that advance has now broken. Price has moved back into the $0.95-$1.00 area, which was resistance before the September breakout.
Liquidations add pressure

In the past four hours alone, liquidations reached $521.99 million. Of that, about $490.56 million came from bullish positions.

Chart analysis
The daily chart shows $0.95-$1.00 as a former resistance zone now being tested as support. Daily RSI sits at 43.92, below the neutral 50 mark but above oversold levels. MACD is bearish, with the line near 0.0195 under the signal line near 0.0513, and the histogram at about -0.0318.

Bulls first need to reclaim $1.00-$1.05, then $1.10-$1.15. If $0.95 fails, the next support zone is $0.78-$0.84. The level to watch next is the daily close relative to $0.95.
