CrowdStrike (CRWD) was trading down 1.90% on Tuesday as the company announced a new partnership with Cerebras Systems (CBRS), which jumped 4.04% on the news.

The two companies will combine CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform with Cerebras’s AI inference speed to deliver faster threat detection and response for enterprise customers.
Under the deal, CrowdStrike will run its Falcon AIDR models on Cerebras infrastructure. Cerebras, in turn, will standardize on the Falcon platform to protect its own business.

What Falcon AIDR Does
Falcon AIDR is CrowdStrike’s AI Detection and Response product. It is designed to secure AI across data, models, agents, and identities.
The product was built to detect and respond to threats at machine speed â something that has become more critical as attack windows have shortened.
CrowdStrike says adversaries can now move across domains in seconds. That has raised the bar for how fast security tools need to operate.
Naor Penso, CISO at Cerebras, made the case plainly: “Every millisecond matters. It determines whether AI prevents an attack or explains what happened afterward.”
Why Cerebras Inference Matters Here
Cerebras is known for building some of the fastest AI inference infrastructure available. That speed is now being applied directly to cybersecurity workloads.
By running Falcon AIDR models on Cerebras hardware, CrowdStrike says it can deploy larger, smarter models while still operating in real time.
Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike’s chief business officer, said: “By running Falcon AIDR models on Cerebras, we put the world’s best security AI on the world’s fastest inference.”
The partnership also signals something about the direction of enterprise AI security. Cerebras, a company that builds AI infrastructure, chose CrowdStrike to protect its own systems.
That’s a notable vote of confidence â a major AI infrastructure player betting on Falcon to secure the technology it sells to others.
Both companies are publicly traded on Nasdaq. Cerebras Systems trades under CBRS, and CrowdStrike trades under CRWD.
The partnership is described as a strategic collaboration, with CrowdStrike positioning it as an extension of its leadership in the AIDR category it says it pioneered.
At the time of the announcement, CBRS was up 4.04%, while CRWD was down 1.90%.
