Tron (TRON) stock hit a new 52-week low on Thursday. It traded as low as $1.115 and last changed hands at $1.135, down about 4% from the prior close of $1.20. Volume was 168,229 shares at the time of the report.
The move came a day after the company filed for a new at-the-market offering. Under the plan, it can sell up to $200 million of common stock over time. The filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was made on Wednesday.
Clear Street will act as sales agent on the offering. It keeps a commission of up to 3% of gross proceeds. The stock has a par value of $0.0001.
The money is meant to fund a bigger TRX treasury. Tron says it will add to its token holdings with the proceeds. That comes on top of its daily buying program.

That program was announced in February. It calls for about $50,000 of TRX purchases per day for 360 days in a row. It is a steady, small-dollar routine.
The latest buy came on Thursday. Tron picked up 149,369 TRX at an average price of $0.3347. The treasury now holds 718.9 million tokens.
At current prices, that stash is worth about $237 million. Market cap sits near $546 million, according to MarketBeat. So the tokens are worth a bit under half of what the market values the company at.
Analyst Views and Earnings

On earnings, Tron last reported on August 11. It posted $0.01 per share and revenue of $1.57 million. Return on equity was negative 5.60%, while net margin was 135.58%.
The stock trades below both of its key moving averages. The 50-day average is $1.55 and the 200-day is $1.76. Beta is 8.69, which tells you this one moves a lot more than the market.
