XRP is trading around $1.258 on Friday, October 30. The token recovered from an intraday low of $1.199 as crypto markets saw renewed volatility.

The move follows a security breach at Binance. Reuters reported that about $6.3 billion in digital assets was stolen, and blockchain analytics firms linked the attack to North Korean hackers.
Binance said it froze about $3 billion of the affected assets. Ripple also helped freeze roughly $200 million in funds tied to the incident.

Ripple Moves Ahead With Institutional Plans
Ripple made several announcements this week. On October 28, the company said it expects to exit 2026 near $900 million in annualised product revenue.
It also received final approval from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to set up a national trust bank. New partnerships with BNY and Robinhood aim to expand custody, stablecoin settlement and tokenised services.
Coinbase also announced support for Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin across its retail, exchange and institutional platforms.
The effect on XRP depends on whether these developments create demand for the token itself.
ETF Inflows and Network Activity
US spot XRP ETFs kept drawing money. According to Alpha Finance, the five funds it tracks recorded about $8.4 million in net inflows on October 29.
Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ made up about $5.6 million of that total. Cumulative inflows now stand near $1.73 billion.
Over the past 30 trading sessions, net inflows were about $98.9 million. Trackers differ on reporting cut-offs, so the latest figures are provisional.
DefiLlama data for October 30 shows the XRP Ledger processed about 4.41 million transactions in 24 hours. It had 48,537 active addresses.
Decentralised exchange volume reached $4.2 million. DeFi total value locked was about $321 million, down 4.54% on the day.
Stablecoin market capitalisation on the network reached $1.08 billion, up 4.88% over seven days.
On the daily chart, XRP was rejected from the $1.55–$1.65 zone earlier in October. It has since broken below the ascending trendline from August and keeps forming lower highs.

Support sits between $1.20 and $1.16. A daily close below $1.16 could open the way to $1.10 and then $1.00.
Resistance sits at $1.30–$1.35, with $1.40–$1.45 above that. The RSI is at 38.16, and the MACD line is at -0.0345, below its signal line at -0.0315.
