- Cardano’s DeFi total value locked sits near $57.86 million, down 1.13%, with DEX volume lower over seven days.

Cardano (ADA) is trading around $0.1919 on Friday, October 30, as it tests a support level following a drop from its early-October highs near $0.28. The price sits just above $0.1898, a level that has shaped trading in June and August.

ADA had moved inside a rising channel since June, when it bottomed near $0.14. Prices made higher highs and higher lows through early October.
Channel Breakdown and Key Levels
That pattern weakened when ADA failed to hold above $0.27–$0.28 at the start of October. The rejection led to a run of lower highs, and the price later broke below the channel’s lower line near $0.22.

Analyst Jesse Olson said on X that ADA “hit all four targets to the downside.” He said the reversal signs were visible and that he called them out 22 days ago. He now asks whether the fourth target will hold as support.
$ADA hit all four targets to the downside. ✅
The reversal signs were there and I called them out 22 days ago.

On Friday, ADA dipped as low as $0.1819 before buyers pushed it back above $0.19. The daily candle has not yet closed.
If $0.1898 holds, the first resistance sits at $0.20–$0.205, followed by $0.215–$0.22. The $0.22 area matches the broken channel line. A move above it could open a path toward $0.24.
A daily close below $0.1898 would put the $0.182 low in view, then $0.17 and $0.16. The June support near $0.14 would come into play only with a deeper drop.
Momentum readings lean bearish. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 31.10, just above the oversold line of 30. The MACD line is at -0.01054, below its signal line at -0.00772.
Binance Breach and Network Activity
Wider markets have been shaken by a security incident at Binance. According to Reuters, the exchange reported an estimated $6.3 billion impact. About $3 billion in affected assets were frozen with help from industry partners.
Binance said it would cover the losses, and the investigation continues. Bitcoin and Ethereum fell after the announcement.
Cardano’s own network data shows softer activity. DefiLlama figures for October 29 show 27,971 transactions and 13,133 active addresses over 24 hours.
DeFi total value locked stands near $57.86 million. DEX volume reached $1.08 million in 24 hours, and seven-day volume fell about 19.2%. Stablecoin market cap dropped 7.27% over seven days to $64.42 million.
Development work has continued. On October 7, the Cardano Foundation said CIP-113 programmable tokens went live on mainnet. The standard lets developers add compliance rules to native assets.
On October 8, the Foundation confirmed progress on its application for the .ada top-level domain through ICANN.
As of Friday, ADA trades near $0.1919, with $0.1898 as the level in focus.
