Uniswap (UNI) was trading at $6.87 on October 30, down 3.87% on the day. The drop followed the wider market, as Bitcoin fell below $78,000 and Ethereum slipped under $2,300 after the Binance hack.

By October 31, the picture had changed. CMC AI data shows UNI up 6.36% to $7.04 over 24 hours, while Bitcoin was flat.
The $6.3 billion theft from Binance is the largest in crypto history. It was disclosed on October 29.
Standard Chartered Points to DEX Growth
Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick reiterated a $100 target for UNI by 2030. He argued the hack could push traders away from centralized exchanges and toward decentralized ones.
“The decentralized exchange has never had any exploits, and the hack of the largest centralized exchange, in Binance, should see the ratio of DEX to CEX trading continue to increase,” Kendrick said.
The bank has also projected that assets deposited and staked on DeFi platforms will reach $2.7 trillion by 2030. It expects Uniswap to take the largest share, as its liquidity pools could grow 37 times.
Kendrick also suggested the hack could make his forecast “too low.”
Analyst Don, posting as @DonWedge on X, shared a longer-term view of UNI. He said a falling wedge from the $19 top broke in June, and the price ran from $2.60 to $10.90.

Don said UNI is now retesting the $5 to $6.60 zone from above. That area acted as support from 2022, was lost in January and was reclaimed in September.
If the zone holds, Don’s target is $18. A weekly close back below $5 would invalidate the setup, he said.
Futures Data and Chart Levels
CoinGlass data shows UNI futures volume jumped 221% on October 30 to $1.45 billion. That compares with $388 million the day before and is the highest level since September 24.

Open interest fell from $604 million to $587 million. That suggests the volume came from liquidations rather than new positions. UNI recorded $10 million in long liquidations over two days.
On the daily chart, UNI is holding support at $6.40, the first test of that level since mid-September. The level also marks the base of a falling triangle pattern.
A close below $6.40 could send the price toward $5.90 and then $4.43. If the level holds, the next target is $7.50.
The Chaikin Money Flow reading is 0.03, showing buying pressure slightly ahead of selling. The Relative Strength Index remains below 50 on the daily chart.
On the four-hour chart, the RSI is making higher lows and nears a crossover above its signal line. A confirmed crossover could lift the price to $7.43. The lower Bollinger band at $6.62 is support, and the middle band at $7 is resistance.
CMC AI lists $7.25 to $7.35 as the next resistance zone, with $6.85 as a pivot. A break below $6.65 could send UNI toward $6.25.
