Amazon Business has crossed $60 billion in annualized gross sales, the company said Monday, resulting in more than half a billion orders delivered so far this year. AMZN stock was down about 0.75% on the day.
The milestone marks a step up for a division that now counts more than 11 million organizations as customers across 11 countries, including 97 of the Fortune 100. Over 1.8 million new organizations signed up in the first half of 2026 alone.
Shelley Salomon, Amazon’s VP of Worldwide Amazon Business, said the growth reflects a simple trend: companies want to do more with less.
“We’re inventing new ways to help them save time and money—and reinvest in growing their business,” she said.
Product selection on the platform has expanded by nearly 30% globally this year. New categories include repair tools, fresh groceries, and office furniture, with most of the new inventory coming from third-party sellers.
The savings add up. Amazon says business-specific discounts saved customers more than $1 billion worldwide in 2025. Prime Business members saved over $880 million in shipping fees on top of that.
AI and Logistics Investments
Amazon has leaned on technology to keep those numbers growing. New AI tools now help accounts with spend analysis, flag unusual purchases, and surface saving opportunities before they’re missed.
On the logistics side, Amazon is running dedicated delivery trucks in 13 U.S. states. The vehicles run on compressed natural gas and are built for commercial deliveries, with support for scheduled windows and palletized bulk drop-offs at loading docks and mailrooms.
Expanded Prime Business Benefits
Amazon also announced a broadened set of benefits for Prime Business account holders. New partnerships with CrowdStrike, Gusto, and QuickBooks give members discounted access to tools for cybersecurity, payroll, and purchasing management.
Amazon says the combined value of those software discounts can save smaller businesses close to $1,100 a year.
The company also added discounted access to Amazon Quick as part of the expanded Prime Business package.
The Amazon Business unit now operates across 11 countries and continues to grow its third-party seller base, which is responsible for much of the new product selection added in 2026.
