Archer Aviation (ACHR) climbed 3.9% to $4.96 on Monday, bouncing off a prior close of $4.77. The stock hit an intraday high of $4.99, though volume came in at roughly 30 million — about 21% below its daily average.
The move came as the company made two announcements that put it back on investor radar.
Archer launched America’s Consortium for Electric Skyways, known as ACES. The goal is to build up to 250 eVTOL charging sites across major U.S. metro areas, laying the physical groundwork for air taxi operations.
Alongside that, the company unveiled Zee, an aviation intelligence platform designed to process airspace data for airlines, air taxis, and government partners. Together, ACES and Zee connect infrastructure with software — a combination Archer is betting will matter as urban air mobility scales.
Despite the announcements, ACHR is down 39.11% year to date and has lost 54.12% over the past 12 months. The gap between the stock’s price and its potential has drawn attention.
