The company said the closure is part of an ongoing review of its products and services. It did not give a specific reason for the decision.
Binance Pool launched in April 2020. It first supported Bitcoin mining before adding other cryptocurrencies.
What Is Closing
The shutdown covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator. It also includes related features such as mining pool APIs, Telegram hashrate alerts and email notifications.
All Binance Pool services will end at 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10. Links to the pool will also be removed from the Binance homepage that day.
After the cutoff, Binance will disconnect miners from the pool. It will disable its Stratum URLs and mining endpoints.
The exchange will no longer accept or process hashrate submissions after that time. Mining shares sent after the deadline will not be credited.
Product entry points will close. No new rewards, yield or service benefits will build up after the cutoff.
What Miners Need to Do
Binance urged miners to point their equipment to a different pool before the deadline. Doing so should help them avoid interruptions.
Users with active Pool Savings positions should redeem or unsubscribe before the service ends.
Binance also asked users to make sure their accounts can receive any remaining rewards, refunds or settlements. This includes completing any required identity verification by 23:59 UTC on Nov. 10.
Eligible mining shares submitted before 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10 will count toward the final reward calculation. These follow the applicable Binance Pool rules.
Eligible rewards, balances, refunds and settlements will be processed after the shutdown. Binance said this is subject to product rules, account status, risk controls and compliance checks.
Binance Pool pages will stay open for 14 days after the closure. Users can view historical data, account records and payout status until Nov. 24 at 07:00 UTC, after which the pages will be permanently inaccessible.
