Binance is launching options trading on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for eligible users outside the United States. The move is the latest step in the crypto exchange’s push into traditional financial products.

The options will be offered through Nest Trading Limited, Binance’s broker-dealer regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Nest will act as the introducing broker, routing orders to Alpaca Securities, a US-registered firm handling execution, clearing, settlement, and custody.
The contracts are physically settled. That means users who exercise them will receive or deliver the actual underlying shares, not a cash equivalent.
Retail users eligible for options trading can buy calls and puts. The maximum loss is limited to the premium paid upfront. Binance said it expects to add more stock options listings over time.
TradFi Volume Surges on Binance
This launch builds on Binance’s existing equities offering, which already covers more than 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs for international customers, added in June.
TradFi perpetual futures volume on Binance reached $433.4 billion in August. That compares to $29.5 billion in January, making it roughly 15 times the start-of-year level.
Equity-linked perpetuals drove most of that growth. They generated $342.9 billion in August alone, up from just $410.9 million in January, accounting for about 79% of total TradFi volume.
Bybit is also entering this space. The exchange is set to launch 24/7 options on stock perpetuals on September 17, starting with SpaceX and Nvidia. Unlike Binance’s contracts, Bybit’s will be cash-settled in USDT and tied to stock perpetuals rather than the underlying shares.
Broader Push Into Tokenized Stocks
Crypto exchanges are not the only ones moving in this direction. The tokenized stock market has grown sharply over the past year.
Tokenized stocks now hold about $2.6 billion in distributed value, up from around $346 million a year ago, according to RWA.xyz. Monthly transfer volume climbed 93% in the past 30 days to $25.1 billion, and the number of holders rose 157% to nearly 2.5 million.
Coinbase brought its tokenized equities product to its Base blockchain last week, giving eligible non-US users around-the-clock access to onchain versions of stocks including Apple, Nvidia, Meta, and Alphabet.
Kraken opened access to more than 7,000 US-listed stocks for eligible European customers in August, placing them alongside its tokenized xStocks lineup.
Robinhood launched Robinhood Chain in July, along with Stock Tokens available to eligible users in more than 120 countries.
Binance said the options expansion is part of its goal to become a fuller multi-asset platform, giving international users tools that were previously only available through traditional brokers.
