Chainlink (LINK) is trading at $12.06 after a 12.03% gain in the past 24 hours. Trading volume sits at $1.04 billion and market capitalization is at $9.03 billion.

Coinbase has selected Chainlink to supply pricing infrastructure for tokenized stocks on its Base Layer-2 network. This means blockchain versions of Apple and NVIDIA shares will use Chainlink’s price feeds to function in decentralized finance protocols.
For tokenized stocks to work in DeFi lending markets, protocols need reliable price data to value collateral and process liquidations. Without that, these assets largely sit idle in wallets. Chainlink fills that gap.
JUST IN: @Coinbase selects Chainlink as the official oracle infra powering its new Tokenized Stocks on @base.
Chainlink is now enabling millions of Base users to lend, borrow, and trade the largest publicly traded U.S. stocks onchain. https://t.co/jzGkOn6eMe pic.twitter.com/BOtv2kxpeC

Base uses a B20 token standard, an extension of ERC-20. Tokenized shares are regulated by Alpaca and structured as bankruptcy remote. Users without US access can hold fractional shares, trade them on Aerodrome, or use them as collateral on Aave.
Coinbase received regulatory approval from Abu Dhabi’s FSRA on August 11 to operate its global tokenization hub. Verified holders receive dividends and voting rights. Transfers are subject to sanctions screening.
Tokenized Stock Market Is Growing Fast
The numbers behind this are large. Tokenized stock market cap grew from $329 million in June 2025 to roughly $1.7 billion in June 2026. Monthly on-chain transfer volume jumped from $53 million to $9.22 billion in the same period.
RWA deposits in DeFi lending platforms climbed from $2.3 billion in Q2 2025 to $7.4 billion in Q2 2026, even as total DeFi deposits fell around 15%.
Chainlink was also included in Robinhood Chain at its July launch, according to a Galaxy report, showing the oracle is becoming standard infrastructure for tokenized equity platforms.
Bitwise ETF and Price Targets
Crypto analyst Nazoku highlighted that the Bitwise Chainlink ETF continues to buy LINK. The ETF purchased 163,379 LINK tokens worth roughly $1.85 million in its latest trade. Over one week, it accumulated 727,170 LINK tokens at an average price of $7.585. With LINK now near $12.06, those purchases carry unrealized gains of over 50%.
Analyst Michaël van de Poppe stated that LINK is in a bull market and is trending upward against Bitcoin, describing it as a swing trade buy on dips.
I repeat; $LINK is in a bull market.
It's trending upwards vs. $BTC and that shows that we're looking to be buying the dip on this one as swing trades. pic.twitter.com/crnNL9DMsR

Analysts at Rand Group are watching the $12.50 resistance level. A breakout there could open a path to $20, and potentially $28 with continued momentum.
The most recent data point: Bitwise’s ETF added 163,379 LINK tokens at a value of approximately $1.85 million in its latest single purchase.
