Revolut has been valued at $115 billion after an employee share sale, making it Europe’s most valuable private company. The deal priced shares at $2,017 each and allowed staff and existing shareholders to sell stock. No new capital was raised.

The valuation is 53% higher than the $75 billion set in November 2025 and more than double the $45 billion figure from 2024. The size of the transaction has not been disclosed.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the $115 billion figure puts Revolut above Barclays, which had a market cap of around $95 billion at the time. That comparison has limits, since Revolut’s price comes from a private deal rather than public trading.
Strong 2025 Results Back the Higher Valuation
Revolut reported $6 billion in revenue for 2025, up 46% from the year before. Pre-tax profit rose 57% to $2.3 billion. Net profit came in at $1.7 billion, with a 38% pre-tax profit margin.
Customer numbers grew too. Revolut ended 2025 with 68.3 million retail customers after adding 16 million during the year. Its website now says the platform serves more than 75 million customers. Total transaction volume rose 65% to $1.7 trillion.
Eleven product lines each generated at least $135 million in annual revenue. Wealth revenue, which includes crypto activity, rose 31% to $876 million.
CEO Nik Storonsky said in March: “We have only just begun to show what is possible.”
Crypto and Banking Licenses Fuel Global Push
Revolut lets users trade over 200 crypto tokens through its main app and runs Revolut X, a standalone crypto exchange. In October 2025, it secured a MiCA license in Cyprus, giving it access to regulated crypto markets across the EU.
More recently, Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority gave Revolut in-principle approval to offer crypto trading in the UAE. Final approval is still pending.
On the banking side, Revolut received a full UK banking license in March 2026. This opened the door to deposits, credit, and lending in its home market.
The company also filed for a US national bank charter with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in March. If approved, Revolut plans to offer stablecoins, multi-currency accounts, stock trading, and crypto services in the US.
Storonsky has said Revolut does not plan to go public before 2028. Reports have linked a future IPO to a valuation of as much as $200 billion, though no date or price target has been confirmed.
The $115 billion secondary sale is the latest private-market price for the company as it continues expanding across banking and crypto.
