Starship Flight Becomes the Next Focus
The next major event is Starship Flight 14. SpaceX moved the planned launch from Sept. 22 to Sept. 28, with the flight still subject to regulatory approval.
The mission is expected to attempt Starship’s first orbital flight. Plans call for roughly six Earth orbits during a mission lasting close to 10 hours.
SpaceX also plans to deploy 26 Starlink V3 satellites during the flight. Each satellite is designed to provide one terabit per second of network capacity.
The six-day delay weighed on SPCX during Friday trading. The company has not publicly provided a reason for moving the launch date.
From a technical perspective, Invezz identified an ascending triangle on the two-hour chart. The publication also noted that SPCX remained above its 50-period moving average and identified $200 as a possible breakout level.
SPCX has climbed from around $104.60 in August to above $150. Its 50-day moving average currently sits near $134.69, according to MarketBeat.
For now, the Sept. 28 Starship launch is the closest scheduled event for investors to track. SpaceX says the mission remains dependent on regulatory approval.
