XRP is trading near $1.44 on Sept. 21, up nearly 4% over the past 24 hours. The coin has climbed for seven straight days.

The move comes as Bitcoin rose above $81,800 and gained more than 5% over the past week. Total crypto market value rose about 1.7% over the same stretch.
XRP has outperformed the wider market this week. Large holders started buying after the price recovered from the $1.24 to $1.26 range.
Data from Santiment shows whales bought about 1.54 billion XRP over 96 hours. Those coins were worth close to $2.2 billion at the time of purchase.
The buying brought the tracked whale group’s total holdings to roughly 9.81 billion XRP.
Analyst Ali Martinez, who posts as Ali Charts on X, pointed to this activity in a recent post. He said XRP rallied 8.22% in three days after whales bought more than $2 billion worth of coins, and that on-chain data shows little resistance ahead until $1.60, a level where about 2.5 billion XRP previously changed hands. He added that $1.60 is the next level he is watching for possible profit-taking.
XRP RALLIES AFTER WHALES BUY. WHERE NEXT?
Recently, whales accumulated more than $2 billion worth of $XRP.
Now that demand appears to be showing up in price, with XRP rallying 8.22% in just three days.
But on-chain data suggests there may still be room to run.

CryptoQuant also recorded about 1.6 billion XRP flowing into Binance over the past 30 days. That is the highest amount since March.
Network Upgrade Moves Forward
The XRP Ledger is nearing its next upgrade. Validators are building support for the Batch V1.1 amendment.
The proposal has backing from 30 of 35 tracked validators. That exceeds the 28 votes needed to meet the network’s 80% threshold.
The amendment entered its countdown on Sept. 15. It could activate around Sept. 29 if support holds steady.
RippleX says asset managers and commercial projects plan to use Batch once it goes live. The firms involved have not been named yet.
Spot XRP ETFs in the US have kept attracting money too. The funds have brought in roughly $1.7 billion in cumulative net inflows.
Net assets in those ETFs stood near $1.39 billion as of Sept. 17.
Price Levels to Watch
XRP is trading above all four major daily EMAs. The 20-day EMA sits near $1.368, close to the 200-day EMA at $1.356.
This is my long-term chart of ripple:native It implies an eventual advance to $5.40
A claim of a "call" or simple presentation of a chart is NOT a trade People who claim "trades" need to provide proof or else the claims are BS An X post is NOT proof pic.twitter.com/Szu6FiZq2T— The Factor Report (@PeterLBrandt) September 21, 2026
The 50-day EMA sits near $1.303, with the 100-day EMA around $1.268. A drop below $1.35 would put those levels back in focus.
On Binance, liquidation data shows clusters of leveraged positions near $1.45 and $1.47. Below the market, clusters sit around $1.38 and between $1.36 and $1.37.
A daily close above $1.45 would put the Donchian Channel ceiling near $1.50 in view. Clearing that level could open the path toward $1.54 to $1.55.
