XRP is trading at $1.15 after breaking above a resistance level that traders had been watching closely. The move marks a 3.38% gain over the last 24 hours.

Analyst Ash Crypto posted on X that XRP had just broken out of its 66-day downtrend, calling it bullish for XRP holders. That breakout has drawn renewed attention from traders.

CLARITY Act Progress Lifts Sentiment
The broader crypto market also got a lift from legislative news. The White House reportedly reached an agreement on ethics provisions tied to the CLARITY Act, a bill designed to establish clearer federal rules for digital assets.
Journalist Eleanor Terrett reported that officials shared updated bill language with key Senate Republicans. Crypto analyst John Squire (@TheCryptoSquire) summarized the development on X, noting the updated text could be released very soon. The progress removes a barrier that had slowed negotiations.
XRP’s price target of $2 has been floated if buying pressure continues alongside regulatory clarity. Bitcoin gained 2% to $66,310 during the same session, helping lift the broader market.
XRP ETF Inflows Reach $1.49 Billion
XRP exchange-traded funds saw $2.49 million in daily net inflows on July 20, with Bitwise leading all products. Bitwise also holds the largest total assets among listed XRP ETFs at $320.82 million.

Cumulative net inflows across all XRP ETFs reached $1.49 billion. Combined net assets stand at $1.02 billion, representing 1.46% of XRP’s total market cap. Total daily trading volume hit $11.67 million.
On-chain data from TradingView shows the On-Balance Volume indicator edging higher after a long decline, suggesting buying pressure is gradually returning.
Open interest on XRP derivatives has reached approximately $2.6 billion, rising alongside the price recovery. CoinGlass data shows both long and short positions have been liquidated recently, pointing to active repositioning.
Key support levels to watch are $1.12 and $1.10. A close below $1.07 would weaken the current price structure. The RSI reading of 78.46 places XRP in overbought territory, which could slow the rally short-term.
