US spot XRP ETFs have drawn $1.81 billion in cumulative net inflows, but holders face about $440 million in estimated paper losses. XRP trades below the average price at which fund investors are estimated to have entered.
CryptoETF Today data show five funds held $1.46 billion in assets after November 3 trading. XRP closed near $1.28, compared with a modeled average entry price of $1.72.
XRP ETFs Face Paper Losses
The model puts fund positions about 25% below their estimated entry price. Losses eased from nearly $489 million on October 31, when XRP traded near $1.24. These figures are estimates, not confirmed shareholder losses.
Estimates use ETF creations, redemptions, and historical XRP prices. They cannot measure individual returns because shareholders buy at different prices. A November 3 report on XRP demand also described weaker US buying.
Monthly Fund Inflows Lose Momentum
US spot XRP funds attracted $18.83 million in October, down from $121.40 million in September, according to SoSoValue. The smaller monthly total reflected lower fresh investment. The funds previously recorded a 13-week inflow streak.
The five funds recorded $530,000 in net withdrawals on November 2, concentrated in Canary Capital’s XRPC. The November 3 update showed no new flows among reporting funds, although three reports remained outstanding.
Ripple released one billion XRP from escrow on November 1. A report on the XRP escrow release detailed two transfers of 500 million tokens each. The scheduled release did not establish that Ripple sold those tokens.
Holdings Remain Above One Billion XRP
The funds collectively held more than one billion XRP despite the price decline. Their combined market value fell below cumulative net subscriptions, but the figures measure different aspects of fund activity.
Net inflows measure money entering funds after withdrawals. Assets measure the value of holdings. Neither figure alone establishes individual gains or losses, especially when larger investors hedge their positions.
An October 29 XRP price report identified $1.25 as a level traders watched. That differs from the $1.72 modeled ETF entry price, which is not confirmed resistance. From $1.28, XRP would need to gain about 34% to reach $1.72, assuming the estimate stays unchanged.
