TLDR
- Shibarium refreshed its RPC listing and Chainlist connection details.
- Daily Shibarium transactions remain far below previous million-level activity.
- SHIB has dropped about 6% over the past week.
- Shiba Inu’s monthly burn rate has fallen by nearly 90%.
- September has historically ended lower for SHIB three out of five times.
Shiba Inu has returned to public attention with a new Shibarium update after several quiet weeks. The project refreshed connection details for its layer-2 network, while SHIB continues to trade lower across daily and weekly periods. The update arrives as network activity, token burns, and seasonal price data remain important areas of attention for market participants.
Shibarium Updates Chainlist Connection Details
The Shiba Inu team said it updated Shibarium’s RPC listing in the Ethereum-lists/chains registry. Chainlist now shows refreshed network connection data, giving users updated details for accessing the layer-2 blockchain.
A small but useful update for Shibarium.
Its RPC listing has been refreshed in the ethereum-lists/chains registry, with updated connection details now available on Chainlist.

Some community members welcomed the change because it may make network access easier. Others criticized the update as minor and questioned Shibarium’s wider progress after months of weaker activity.
Network use has dropped sharply since an exploit affected Shibarium last year. Daily transactions now often remain in the low thousands and sometimes fall into the hundreds, compared with millions before the incident.
That lower activity shows that Shibarium still faces reduced usage across the network. The project has not announced a major recovery in transaction levels, and recent data points to continued weakness in user participation.
SHIB Price Remains Under Pressure
Shiba Inu has fallen about 6% over the past week and trades near $0.000005196, based on CoinGecko data. Its market value stands slightly above $3 billion, placing SHIB around 33rd among cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
SHIB ranks as the second-largest meme coin by market value. However, recent price action has remained weak, with SHIB posting losses across both daily and weekly trading periods.
The burn program has also slowed. Data shows that the burn rate dropped by nearly 90% over the past month, so the program removed only a small number of tokens from circulation.
The burn system aims to reduce supply by sending SHIB to unusable addresses. Lower burn activity limits the pace of supply reduction and leaves the circulating token count largely unchanged.
September has often been difficult for Shiba Inu. Historical data shows that SHIB closed the month lower in three of the past five September periods. About two weeks remain in the current month. Traders will continue watching Shibarium activity, SHIB price action, and the burn rate for any change in the token’s recent trend.
