The plan still depends on technical, regulatory, and compliance steps. StraitsX has not given an exact launch date.
StraitsX issues its stablecoins through entities licensed under Singapore’s Payment Services Act 2019. The company said Singapore’s Monetary Authority views both coins as compliant with its upcoming stablecoin framework.
StraitsX CEO Tianwei Liu said XSGD on Monad could support new card and payment products. Monad Foundation General Manager Keone Hon said the network is built for fast, low-cost payment infrastructure.
Monad currently holds about $692 million in stablecoins, according to the report.
Privacy Roadmap Also In Focus
Monad published a post-quantum roadmap on September 28. It prioritizes wallet protection first, followed by consensus, staking, the EVM, proof systems, and an encrypted mempool.
Work has begun on a post-quantum version of Cadence, Monad’s consensus mechanism. The final step involves an encrypted mempool using batch threshold encryption, designed to limit opportunities for maximal extractable value.
Monad named 2028 to 2029 as a target window for several of these components.

On its official X account, Monad analyst-facing post teased “Privacy is coming” ahead of its Open Summit scheduled for October 6. The post did not include further technical details about what would be announced.
Monad’s existing developer tools already support private transactions using zero-knowledge proof technology, giving the network a base to build on.
Technical analysis from TradingView data showed MON testing a local high near $0.032758 after bouncing off former resistance at $0.027, which has become a support level. The token’s RSI stood at 69.23 at the time of reporting.
MON reached as high as $0.03444 during the 24-hour window tracked by CoinGecko.
