TLDR
- Binance drew new attention to its bStocks feature, which lets eligible users convert supported stocks into on-chain tokens at a 1:1 ratio.
- Nest Trading Limited handles conversions between stocks and bStocks with no conversion fee.
- bStocks are backed 1:1 by shares held in regulated custody but do not grant direct ownership or shareholder rights.
- Dividends and stock splits are handled through an on-chain multiplier system rather than direct cash payouts.
- U.S. persons cannot access bStocks, and Binance is running new promotional campaigns tied to the product through November 2026.
Binance posted on X on October 6 pointing users back to its bStocks conversion feature. The post did not launch a new product. It reminded users that its Stocks and bStocks offerings are connected.

bStocks let eligible users turn supported stock positions into blockchain tokens. The conversion runs at a 1:1 ratio. Binance says there is no fee for this conversion.
How The Conversion Process Works
Nest Trading Limited manages the conversion service. Users can tokenize a stock order when placing it, convert an existing stock position, or buy bStocks directly through Binance Spot.

The service runs around the clock in most cases. Conversions can pause during technical maintenance or while a corporate action is being processed.
Moving a bStock back into a regular stock requires an eligible Stock Account. Users must meet account requirements and accept terms before the transaction completes.
Rounding differences can appear during conversion. Binance records equity to nine decimal places, while bStocks support eight. Any leftover amount beyond the eighth decimal stays with the issuer as a rounding difference, not a fee.
Binance first introduced bStocks in June. The tokens are linked to companies including Nvidia, Tesla, Circle, Micron and Sandisk.
Ownership Rights And Corporate Actions
Owning a bStock is not the same as owning company shares directly. BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate, issues the certificates.
Holders do not receive direct ownership rights in the underlying companies. Binance’s documents state this applies even for large companies like Tesla, Nvidia or Apple.
The Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority lists BTech Holdings bStocks on its securities register. Listed products include certificates tied to Adobe, AMD, Alphabet, Amazon and Apple.
Dividends work differently than in a standard brokerage account. Cash dividends are generally reinvested into the stock after taxes and deductions, then reflected in the bStock balance through a mechanism Binance calls the multiplier.
Stock splits follow a similar on-chain process. In a 2-for-1 split example, the number of bStocks held would double while each token’s value would fall by half.
U.S. persons cannot access bStocks under any circumstance. Binance states the products have not been registered under U.S. securities law.
Holding a bStock does not provide voting rights, inspection rights or shareholder communication access tied to the underlying company.
Once tokenized, bStocks can move outside Binance. Users can withdraw them as BEP-20 tokens to compatible BNB Smart Chain wallets, subject to eligibility and sanctions checks.
Withdrawals can carry a network fee. bStocks can also trade on Binance Spot outside normal stock-market hours.
Additional Conversion Programs And Promotions
Binance is running a separate promotion letting users convert select third-party tokenized securities into bStocks. That offer runs at a 1:1 rate with no fee through October 11, 2026, subject to daily limits.
Supported third-party tokens under that promotion include ones linked to Tesla, Strategy, Coinbase and Circle. These tokens cannot trade directly on Binance Spot under the program.
On October 6, Binance also announced a new campaign for first-time bStocks traders. Participants completing at least $50 in qualifying transactions can share a pool of 100 SPCXB in token vouchers.
A second track rewards users who set up recurring bStocks conversions, with a separate 10 SPCXB pool. The full campaign period runs from October 6 through November 2, 2026.
