Tesla’s Bitcoin holdings are nearing a market value of $1 billion after BTC climbed sharply over the past week. Arkham data shows the electric vehicle maker holds 11,509 BTC worth about $994.90 million. The position gained roughly $122.62 million in market value as Bitcoin rose about 14%. Bitcoin’s latest rise has therefore brought the company’s remaining crypto reserve back near a closely watched valuation level.

Tesla Bitcoin Holdings Near $1 Billion
Tesla now sits about $5.1 million below the $1 billion mark based on the supplied valuation. The increase comes from Bitcoin’s higher price, not from a new purchase by the company.
The current balance also shows how closely Tesla’s crypto treasury moves with Bitcoin. Bitcoin recently moved above $85,000 during a broader market recovery, lifting the dollar value of corporate reserves without changing their coin balances.
Bitcoin Rally Lifts Corporate Crypto Values
With 11,509 BTC, every $1,000 change in Bitcoin alters Tesla’s position by about $11.51 million. A $10,000 increase would add roughly $115.09 million if the company kept the same balance.
The latest 14% weekly rise pushed the position from about $872.28 million to $994.90 million. That $122.62 million increase reflects a higher market price rather than cash generated through a sale.
Tesla entered Bitcoin in early 2021 after announcing a $1.5 billion investment. The broader market now includes U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which recently recorded nearly $1 billion in daily inflows as BTC prices strengthened.
The company also accepted Bitcoin for vehicle purchases for a short period before stopping the payment option later in 2021. Tesla then reduced its holdings and reported about $936 million in proceeds from a large 2022 sale.
Market Price Drives Weekly Valuation Change
Corporate Bitcoin activity has continued during the latest rally. Strategy recently purchased another 950 BTC for about $75.7 million, taking its reported holdings to 846,000 BTC while Bitcoin traded above $85,000.
Tesla has kept a smaller Bitcoin reserve since its earlier sales. Arkham data places the current balance at 11,509 BTC, with its value now close to ten figures. The latest increase remains unrealized unless Tesla sells part of the position. No new Tesla Bitcoin purchase appears in the supplied data for the latest weekly move.
