Bitget has added US stock options trading to its Stock+ platform, letting eligible users trade options alongside crypto, tokenized stocks, forex, and other assets in one place.
Dear stock traders, I apologize.
Since Bitget launched US stock trading last November, the team has been misbehaving in the best possible way, to keep bombarding our users with new product drops: we launched this, and this, and yes, this too. Very annoying.

What’s New on Stock+
The exchange launched long call and long put positions as its starting point. Long calls let traders bet on a stock rising in price. Long puts allow traders to profit from a decline or hedge against losses in stocks they already hold.
The risk to buyers is capped at the premium paid for each contract. However, if the market does not move in the expected direction, the contract can expire worthless.
Bitget’s Stock+ platform already included tokenized stocks and pre-IPO access before this update. The addition of options gives traders more tools for strategies around earnings announcements and market volatility.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the launch is part of a broader plan. “From tokenized stocks to now options, we are executing on convergence,” she said. “Our products are way ahead of its time in providing advanced trading access to stocks, gold, crypto, and worldwide assets.”
US Options Market Growth
The timing follows a record year for options trading. The US options market processed more than 15.2 billion contracts in 2025, averaging around 60 million contracts per trading day.
That growth has been driven by both retail and institutional investors using options for speculation, hedging, and portfolio management.
Bitget is not the only crypto exchange moving in this direction. In June, Coinbase announced plans to expand options trading for both stocks and crypto, while also adding thematic equity index products and pre-IPO perpetual contracts.
Binance also added more than 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs for users outside the United States and outlined plans for tokenized equity products through its bStocks feature.
For now, Bitget’s options offering covers single-leg strategies only. The company said more advanced multi-leg strategies are planned for future updates.
As a launch promotion, eligible users who place their first US stock options trade can receive $15 worth of Nvidia stock, subject to availability.
The Stock+ platform now positions Bitget as one of the few crypto exchanges to offer crypto, tokenized stocks, options, forex, indices, commodities, and CFDs all in one place.
