What the Integration Includes
DoubleZero Edge, the data distribution arm of the DoubleZero fiber network, is now carrying Kalshi’s election contracts alongside its existing sports and crypto perpetual futures data. The feed delivers trades, best bids and offers, and aggregated order-book depth by price level.
This is not just a headline probability feed. Full order-book data shows the liquidity sitting behind those probabilities and how quickly traders reprice outcomes when news breaks.
Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, explained the reasoning. He said that if a debate, court ruling, or breaking news event moves the market in seconds, a delayed snapshot is already useless.
The goal is to turn political probabilities into machine-ready data that professional traders and AI systems can act on in real time.
Midterm Betting Is Growing Fast
The November 3 midterms will decide control of Congress for the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term. All 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats are on the ballot.
The outcome will either allow Republicans to continue advancing Trump’s legislative agenda, or hand Democrats the power to block legislation and lead congressional investigations.
Betting activity around the midterms has grown quickly. More than $133 million had been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket, and Polymarket US through August 10.
That already surpasses the $92.4 million traded during the entire 2024 congressional election cycle, according to figures from the Anti-Corruption Data Collective reported by Reuters.
On Kalshi’s House control market alone, more than $35 million in volume has been recorded. Democrats currently sit at 84% odds to win the House.
DoubleZero is a global fiber network built for high-performance distributed systems. It is powered by independent fiber contributors and coordinated through a blockchain-based protocol. The foundation is based in the Cayman Islands.
Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction-market exchange offering event contracts tied to political, economic, and other real-world outcomes.
Andy Ross, head of institutional at Kalshi, said the integration is designed to make political market data easier to plug into institutional trading workflows as expectations around election outcomes shift.
The DoubleZero Edge platform already distributes data from Kalshi’s sports contracts and crypto perpetual futures markets. The addition of election data marks an expansion into political markets on the same infrastructure.
Trading tied to the November midterms continues to accelerate as the election approaches.
