XRP dropped 7.32% over the past 24 hours, trading around $1.50 on September 24, 2026. The token’s 24-hour trading volume reached $7.05 billion, with a market cap of $94.53 billion.

Despite the price drop, spot XRP ETFs kept pulling in money. Analyst X Finance Bull noted that XRP ETFs gathered $61.87 million in September alone, bringing total net inflows to $1.73 billion.
This gap between falling prices and rising ETF inflows has become a pattern. Investors keep adding to spot ETF positions even as the token’s short-term price struggles.
XRP Faces Key Technical Levels
Analyst CRYPTOWZRD said XRP closed bearish and is trading below resistance at $1.5300. He explained that reclaiming this level could help XRP recover, while staying below it may bring more volatility.
XRP Daily Technical Outlook:$XRP closed strongly bearish. The intraday chart is trading below $1.5300. Above this resistance will offer a long. Below, we are going to see more sideways volatility. $1.4400 is the support 🧙♂️ pic.twitter.com/d1XIXAMvZb

CRYPTOWZRD pointed to $1.4400 as the main support zone. Holding above this price could help XRP stabilize, while a break below could bring further selling pressure.
XRP briefly fell to around $1.45 during a broader market sell-off before buyers pushed it back toward $1.52. The token was up 1.39% at the time of that reading.
The $1.45 to $1.42 range is now the nearest support zone. If XRP holds above it, buyers may get another shot at testing $1.60.
A move past $1.60 could open the path toward $1.66, a level where XRP faced selling earlier. If $1.42 fails to hold, traders will watch $1.36 next.
XRP is still trading above its major price averages. This means the broader recovery trend has not been broken yet.
Holder Numbers Keep Climbing
The number of addresses holding XRP rose to 8.15 million, up from about 7.72 million in late March. That’s an increase of roughly 430,000 addresses over six months.
This growth continued through both price increases and declines. It suggests interest in XRP extends beyond short-term traders reacting to daily price swings.
Exchange activity tells a more mixed story. About 524,000 XRP moved onto trading platforms recently, while about 135,000 moved off, for a net inflow of roughly 389,000 XRP.
Tokens moving to exchanges are often viewed as available for sale. Still, this inflow was small compared to the multimillion-XRP spikes seen earlier in the year.
In the short term… (days to weeks)
I’m expecting $XRP to move into the $2.00–$2.30 range.
Price will likely tap this range and then retrace once again.
I do not expect that retracement to create new lows below $1.00.
Instead, I expect price to establish a higher low while…

Trader and analyst PharaohX33 shared a short-term outlook on X, expecting XRP to move into the $2.00 to $2.30 range before retracing. He said he does not expect that pullback to create new lows below $1.00, and instead expects XRP to form a higher low before consolidating sideways.
PharaohX33 added that the yearly candle turns bullish above $1.84, and that momentum could build once XRP clears $1.85. He said the key test will be whether XRP can push through the $2.20 area in the coming weeks.
On the regulatory side, CFTC Chairman Michael Selig said the agency is using its existing powers to build a market structure for crypto assets. He said the CFTC is working to set guidelines for the digital asset space.
Selig’s comments could affect crypto exchanges and digital asset firms operating in the US. XRP ETF inflows have reached $1.73 billion for the year, while the token trades near $1.50 with resistance at $1.5300 and support at $1.4400.
