TLDR
- XRP trades near $1.31, up about 0.4% to 1.8% on the day, depending on the source.
- Analyst Ali Charts says a TD Sequential buy signal appeared on the three-day chart.
- Ripple received OCC approval for a national trust bank, CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced.
- XRP sits below all four key moving averages, from $1.33 to $1.37.
- Traders are watching $1.25 support and the Fed meeting on October 28.
XRP is trading near $1.31 after several weeks of weakness. Two stories are driving attention: a technical buy signal and a regulatory approval for Ripple.

Crypto analyst Ali Charts said on X that the TD Sequential indicator triggered a buy signal on XRP’s three-day chart. He noted that three earlier signals were followed by rebounds of 31%, 24% and 18%.
XRP FLASHES BUY SIGNAL
The TD Sequential has flashed a buy signal on the $XRP 3-day chart. The last three similar signals triggered rebounds of 31%, 24%, and 18%.
That makes the latest signal worth paying attention to. But everything depends on $1.25.

The Bank Charter News
Ripple’s national trust bank got the green light from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Brad Garlinghouse shared the news on X, saying the charter gives Ripple “an even stronger foundation for RLUSD and the institutional products we’re building.”
🇺🇸BREAKING: The OCC has officially given Ripple final approval for its own national trust bank, which will manage the reserves behind its RLUSD stablecoin.
It completes a process that began with the OCC's conditional approval last December.

The approval could help Ripple link banks with blockchain payments. It also lets the firm offer custody services to enterprises.
RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, has a market cap of $2.5 billion. That makes it the ninth largest dollar-pegged stablecoin. Its market cap grew 7% in the past week, faster than its rivals.
Ripple still faces hurdles, as the U.S. lacks a full legal framework for crypto assets. The company will also have to compete hard for institutional volume.
Charting Guy, another analyst, posted that XRP is “flipping resistance to support.” His chart suggests price is holding above a level that had capped it before.

What the Charts Show
On the daily chart, XRP trades below the 20-day EMA at $1.3419 and the 50-day at $1.3607. It is also below the 100-day at $1.3335 and the 200-day at $1.3710.
The MACD histogram reads about -0.0004. The MACD line is still under its signal line, so no bullish crossover has been confirmed.
On the four-hour chart, a W-shaped pattern has formed. A breakout above its neckline could open the way toward $1.55, according to FXEmpire analyst Alejandro Arrieche. He calls $1.31 a pivotal level.
CoinGecko data shows XRP’s close fell from $1.37 on October 21 to $1.31 on October 26. That is a drop of about 4.4%.
Trading volume hit roughly $1.98 billion on October 22. It fell to about $996.8 million by October 26. CoinGlass data shows open interest remains below late-September levels.
Ali Charts named $1.25 as the level to watch. A hold above it could lead to $1.40, while a loss could send XRP toward $0.98. He described these as scenarios, not confirmed targets.
The Federal Reserve meets on October 28. Arrieche noted that volatility may continue until the market gets a clearer view of the macro backdrop. XRP was trading at $1.32 on the morning of October 28, up 1.79% on the day.
