Chainlink has launched Chainlink 24/7, a pricing service that runs around the clock for tokenized stocks, commodities and other real-world assets. The service targets a gap in decentralized finance. Blockchains never close, but traditional stock markets shut down on weekends and holidays.
Meet Price. Price never sleeps.
Now markets don’t have to either.

Tokenized stocks can keep trading onchain when the underlying exchange is closed. That leaves lending apps without a live price for the asset. Before this launch, apps could use the last available price, pause some activity, or build their own off-hours pricing.
Chainlink 24/7 uses two data sources. During regular trading hours, it relies on the existing Chainlink 24/5 equity pricing data. When markets are closed, it gathers quotes from several perpetual futures venues.
Chainlink says the system filters out stale inputs and limits the effect of outlier prices. This gives apps one reference price without treating a closed exchange as if it were still live. The 24/7 service adds to the weekday feeds instead of replacing them.
Aave Becomes the First Launch Partner
Aave is the first platform to adopt the service. It will use Chainlink Data Feeds to value tokenized assets held as collateral on Horizon, its institutional lending platform. The first phase covers high-volume U.S. equities.

Institutions can borrow against eligible tokenized stocks even when traditional exchanges are shut. Aave founder Stani Kulechov said the integration lets institutions use their capital more effectively. He added that risk management stays in place on weekends and holidays.
Chainlink reported that Aave had more than $34 billion in total value secured at the time of the announcement. The partnership builds on Aave’s existing role in institutional DeFi lending.
The launch builds on Chainlink’s work with tokenized equities. Its 24/5 U.S. Equities Streams already support more than $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks across six blockchains. Users include Ondo, xStocks, Robinhood and Coinbase.
Chainlink also says its oracle network supports about 70% of DeFi. It reports more than 80% of lending markets on Ethereum and Solana and over 81% of tokenized RWA value.
The company has also noted a pricing difference to watch. Perpetual futures prices can move on breaking news before stock exchanges reopen, which can create gaps. If a tokenized stock drops over a weekend, lenders may adjust collateral rules or liquidate positions before the stock market opens.
Asian Equity Feeds and Wall Street Activity
Chainlink has also widened its reach in Asia. Its APAC Equities Streams now cover over $40 trillion in equity markets across China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The feeds give live prices for companies such as TSMC, Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix and BYD.
These feeds are already available on Lighter, Jupiter Exchange and Predict. Those platforms use them for trading and prediction markets tied to traditional stocks.
Traditional finance is moving in the same direction. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) launched its DTC Tokenization Service into live production on October 28. The service turns securities held in DTCC client custody into tokens.
Morgan Stanley is working with DTCC on the new service. Amy Oldenburg, the bank’s Head of Digital Assets Strategy, said the hands-on experience will inform the firm’s digital asset plans as markets evolve.
On the price side, LINK has not shown a sustained rise since the launch. On November 4, it traded around $11.52. Its market capitalization was about $8.84 billion, and 24-hour trading volume was near $392.10 million.

Analyst Michaël van de Poppe posted on X that the bottom is in for LINK. He said many altcoins swept their recent lows and then formed a higher low, and he named Chainlink as one of them. He expects a run toward $20 in the coming months.
The bottom is in for $LINK.
Many #Altcoins have seen a beautiful sweep of the recent low and are now climbing up after they've created a higher low.
Chainlink is one of them.
I think that we'll see a run towards $20 in the coming months. pic.twitter.com/UeWzikw7g2

Earlier this week, Chainlink’s Reserve added 427,000 LINK in October. That update came as the token’s price was eyeing a $16 target.
