TLDR
- Cardano (ADA) price rose nearly 10% to $0.273 on Monday.
- The rally follows the October 3 RealFi mainnet launch, backed by Charles Hoskinson.
- ADA futures open interest climbed 15% to $614.98 million.
- ADA is up 27% over the past month, outpacing Ethereum and Solana.
- Traders are watching $0.260 as a key level to hold before $0.30 becomes a target.
Cardano’s price climbed to $0.273 on Monday. That marks a gain of nearly 10% in 24 hours, after a 6% rise the day before.

The move made ADA one of the strongest performers among major tokens that day. Bitcoin held above $85,700, and Ethereum traded above $2,730.
XRP sat above $1.520 during the same period. The broader market was mostly flat, which made Cardano’s jump stand out.
What Triggered the Cardano Rally
The rally followed the October 3 launch of RealFi’s mainnet. RealFi is a real-world asset platform that Charles Hoskinson has invested in.
Big day. @realfi_co is officially live on Cardano Mainnet 🎉
Everything we've built together over the past few months has led to this moment. Welcome to the next chapter.

The launch gave traders a specific reason to buy beyond general market moves. It offered a utility story tied directly to the Cardano network.
Investors are also watching Cardano’s appearance at TOKEN2049 Singapore, set for October 7 and 8. Events like this often draw extra attention to a project’s price.
Separately, the Cardano community rejected a proposal to fund a Cardano Summit through the treasury. Despite that rejection, ADA has still risen 27% over the past month.
On-chain activity has also picked up. Total value locked in Cardano protocols rose 20% over five days, partly due to FluidTokens incentives offering a 6% ADA yield through December 31.
Analyst Lucky (@LLuciano_BTC) weighed in on the move, writing that in his opinion, ADA “is setting its tone for another parabolic run.” The comment reflects a broader sentiment among traders watching the token’s recent strength.

Futures Data Shows Rising Bullish Bets
CoinGlass data shows ADA futures open interest rose 15% in 24 hours, reaching $614.98 million. Open interest tracks the total value of active futures contracts.
A positive funding rate also appeared during this period. That means traders holding long positions were paying those holding short positions, a sign of rising demand for upside bets.
Cardano has outperformed other major tokens over the past month. ADA is up 27%, compared to Ethereum’s 10% gain and Solana’s 17% gain in the same window.
However, DEX volume on Cardano has not followed the same pattern. Volume fell from $11.74 million on October 1 to $5.72 million by October 5, according to DefiLlama.
$ADA ✍🏻
4D A solid manipulation move. On our spot watchlist for the coming days.

At $0.2718, ADA trades above $0.2632, a Fibonacci retracement level tied to the decline from $0.3136 to $0.1385. Holding above that level on a daily basis could open the door to $0.30 and then the prior high near $0.3136.
A further extension target sits at $0.3916, though that remains a longer-range level rather than a near-term one. On the downside, the 200-day exponential moving average near $0.2472 is the first support to watch.
Below that, traders are watching $0.2328, followed by $0.2260 and the 50-day exponential moving average at $0.2244. These levels mark where buying interest has appeared in the past.
As of October 5, ADA continues to trade above its short-term support levels following the RealFi mainnet launch and ahead of its TOKEN2049 Singapore appearance.
