Pi Network price moved closer to its record low on Tuesday as sellers kept control of the market. PI Coin fell about 9% in 24 hours and traded near $0.075 after briefly dropping below $0.074.
The token now sits only a few percentage points above its all-time low near $0.0700. Weekly losses reached about 19%, while the wider crypto market also faced heavy selling pressure.
PI Coin Loses Key Support Levels
Pi Network price has struggled since falling below the $0.10 support level two weeks ago. That move pushed the token into fresh price discovery and sent it toward $0.07.
Buyers later helped PI Coin recover to $0.10, but the rebound failed to hold. The token then dropped below $0.08 and continued lower during Tuesday’s trading session.
The wider crypto market has also turned weaker. CoinGlass data showed about $604 million in total liquidations, including $531 million from long positions.

CoinMarketCap’s Fear and Greed Index fell to 34 from 39 on Sunday. The lower reading shows that traders have become more cautious as prices fall across digital assets.

Open Interest Falls as Traders Step Back
PI Coin open interest dropped to $7.94 million, according to CoinAnk. The figure stood at $12.14 million on July 15, showing that traders have reduced their exposure.
Lower open interest often points to weaker activity in futures markets. For Pi Network price, the decline shows that fewer traders are willing to hold leveraged positions during the sell-off.
What “Washed Out” Sentiment Means
Ben, a co-founder of BSCNew, described sentiment around PI Coin as “washed out.” The phrase refers to a market where confidence, trading interest, and buying demand have fallen sharply.
$PI is at $0.081 this morning with a market cap just under $900M, and sentiment is as washed out as I have seen it.
July alone delivered Protocol v25, a redesigned mining app and a move to earn launch. Price ignored all of it.

He said his view remains focused on the project’s delivery pace rather than short-term price moves. Pi Network has continued to release app changes, protocol updates, and platform improvements.
Supporters such as Pi Town have also remained focused on the network’s development. However, the Pi Network price still faces strong selling pressure as the token trades near its record low.

PI Coin must first recover above $0.08 to ease immediate pressure. A break below $0.0700 would set a new all-time low and keep sellers in control.
