Cardano (ADA) is trading at around $0.224 on Friday, extending gains after finding support near key moving averages earlier this week. The price is up roughly 17% this week, supported by rising network activity and increased buying from large wallet holders.

One analyst on X has laid out a bullish case for ADA, predicting a potential 14x price increase that could take Cardano from its current level to $2.92. The analyst believes the bottom may already be in and that ADA is setting up for a larger move to the upside.
Analyst Sssebi shared their view on X, stating that “$ADA is not giving up” and that “the longer it tests the resistance, the higher chance to break it.” The comment came as ADA continued pressing against overhead resistance levels.

On-chain data from DeFiLlama shows Cardano’s DEX trading volumes have jumped threefold in just two days, climbing from $2.01 million to $7.28 million. This points to a clear pickup in network usage.
Whale Accumulation Supports the Move
Santiment data shows that wallets holding between 1 million and 10 million ADA have added 60 million tokens since Sunday. This buy-the-dip behavior from large holders has helped lift prices throughout the week.

Cardano’s total value locked (TVL) has also risen, from 268.47 million ADA on August 28 to 299.81 million ADA, adding over 31 million ADA in under two weeks. DeFi platform RealFi has also announced it will launch on Cardano on October 1.
Derivatives data from CoinGlass shows ADA’s long-to-short ratio sitting at 1.10, near its highest level in over a month. Funding rates also turned positive, reading 0.0087% on Friday, which signals that more traders are positioned for upside.
Technical Picture
ADA is trading above its 50-day and 100-day EMAs but remains below the 200-day EMA. The RSI sits at 64, in bullish territory without being overbought. The MACD has turned marginally positive.

Key resistance sits at the 61.8% Fibonacci level near $0.231, then $0.236, and the 200-day EMA zone around $0.245. Support is near $0.213, with the 100-day EMA at $0.198.
One area to watch: stablecoin market cap on Cardano has dipped from $67.95 million to $63.97 million, per DeFiLlama.
ADA’s long-to-short ratio of 1.10 and positive funding rate of 0.0087% as of Friday reflect the current bullish lean in derivatives markets.
