Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has renewed calls for Gemini to list ADA after the exchange marked its 11th anniversary. His reply to co-founder Tyler Winklevoss brought attention to ADA’s absence.
Gemini Still Leaves ADA Off Its Platform
Gemini supports proof-of-stake cryptocurrencies including Solana, Avalanche, Polkadot, Cosmos, and Tezos. However, the exchange still does not offer Cardano’s token. Gemini has not publicly given a reason for excluding ADA.
List ADA

The exchange says listing reviews consider demand, liquidity, maturity, utility, regulatory factors, cybersecurity risks, and ownership concentration. Cardano supporters question the omission because ADA trades on several exchanges and has operated for years.
Hoskinson Keeps Pressure on Exchange
Hoskinson has raised Gemini’s lack of ADA support. In 2022, he joked about the issue after FTX collapsed and during Gemini’s Genesis-related problems. His renewed request comes as ADA rallied in October.
Cardano also recorded market activity after the RealFi mainnet launch, while futures open interest climbed. The move followed renewed attention around network development and use.
Cardano Developments Add Market Attention
Recent Cardano updates extend beyond price action. The Cardano Foundation has pursued enterprise use while developers continue work across the network. Those efforts have kept attention on adoption as ADA remains absent from Gemini.
A Japan partnership also added to Cardano’s recent activity. The Cardano Foundation partnered with Pacific Meta to support enterprise blockchain adoption. Network activity increased during the same period, adding another measure of ADA usage.
No Listing Decision Announced
Hoskinson previously argued that Gemini may have missed trading revenue by excluding ADA. He compared the exchange with Binance and Coinbase, which have offered ADA markets for years. Gemini has not publicly responded to his estimate.
The latest request does not confirm any change in Gemini’s asset policy. Neither Gemini nor Winklevoss has announced plans to add ADA after Hoskinson’s reply. The exchange continues to use its existing review process for new assets.
Cardano adoption efforts also remain active outside exchanges. Recent fuel-tracking projects show another use case under development. For now, ADA remains unavailable on Gemini despite repeated requests from Hoskinson and Cardano community members.
Any future listing would depend on Gemini’s internal review and formal announcement. Until then, Hoskinson’s latest message adds another public request to a debate that has continued for years.
