Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) is trading around $0.00784 on Oct. 22, down about 3.4% on the session. The token opened near $0.00811, touched $0.00816, and fell to roughly $0.00782.

Despite the drop, PENGU remains near the lower boundary of a rising channel that has formed since August. Market value is close to $500 million, with more than $100 million in daily trading volume, according to CoinGecko.
SoFi Listing and Brand Activity
The biggest recent headline is PENGU’s addition to SoFi’s crypto platform. Customers can now buy, sell and hold the token through the company’s banking app.

SoFi has more than 15 million members, which widens access for U.S. consumers. The listing came alongside renewed interest in PENGU, though the timing does not prove SoFi caused the price move. The token briefly moved back above $0.008 before meeting resistance, TokenPost reported.
Crypto analyst Ali Charts also pointed to a bullish signal. He said the SuperTrend indicator has been very accurate at anticipating trend shifts for PENGU. According to him, every bearish flip has been followed by a steep correction, and every bullish flip by a new rally.
ANOTHER BUY SIGNAL ON PENGU
The SuperTrend indicator has been extremely accurate at anticipating trend shifts for $PENGU.
Every time it has flipped bearish, a steep correction has followed. And every time it has flashed bullish, a new rally has begun.

Ali Charts noted that as PENGU pushes above $0.0081, the SuperTrend has flipped bullish again. He sees it as a sign of the start of a new leg higher.
The wider brand has stayed active. Pudgy Penguins NFT sales jumped 77% week over week to about $2.56 million, per CoinMarketCap. That places the collection among the stronger NFT projects by sales volume.
Billionaire collector Adam Weitsman also disclosed buying 117 Pudgy Penguins NFTs earlier this month. He said he wanted to support the collection during a difficult period, according to crypto.news.
One less positive item is the plan by parent company Igloo to shut down the Abstract Layer 2 network on Dec. 15. The company will redirect resources toward Pudgy Penguins and PENGU.
PENGU Chart Analysis
Looking at the daily chart, PENGU is sitting right on the lower line of its upward-sloping channel. That support runs around $0.0074-$0.0077, the same trendline buyers defended in September before a bounce toward $0.010.

Momentum looks a bit soft. Daily RSI is 44.77, under the neutral 50 line but far from oversold. MACD is still bearish, though the histogram is small, so sellers don’t have full control. Bulls need $0.0085-$0.0090 first, and a daily close below the channel could bring $0.0070 and then $0.006 into play.
The level to watch next is the $0.0074-$0.0077 support zone, with $0.0085-$0.0090 as the first upside test.
On-chain data shows steady interest. PENGU has about 565,000 holder addresses on Solana, with the count up about 0.5% since Oct. 3. Phantom data showed roughly 55,000 trades over 24 hours and about $11 million in decentralized exchange liquidity.
There is currently no comparable U.S. spot PENGU ETF, so no ETF flow figures are available. The most recent data shows PENGU at $0.00784, testing rising channel support while the SoFi listing and NFT sales remain the main talking points.
