TLDR
- XRP is trading around $1.32, down 3% on the day and 7% over the past week
- US-Iran tensions are dragging down risk assets across the crypto market
- US-listed XRP spot ETFs saw $14 million in inflows on Tuesday, with cumulative inflows at $1.68 billion
- XRP Ledger hit 3 billion cumulative transactions with a 200% surge in on-chain volume
- Key support sits around $1.22, while resistance is at the 200-day EMA near $1.35
XRP is trading at $1.32, pulling back after a strong 72% rally in August pushed the token from $1.00 to $1.70. That rally stalled on profit-taking as traders locked in gains and the price began searching for fresh buyers.

The broader crypto market is also under pressure. Bitcoin has slipped below $77,000 and Ethereum is sitting under $2,400. Rising US-Iran tensions have pushed oil prices higher and are reinforcing hawkish expectations around the Federal Reserve, creating a tough macro backdrop for risk assets.
The crypto Fear & Greed Index has dropped to 63, down from 69 the day before. A continued fall in sentiment could push XRP below the $1.30 level.
Despite the price dip, capital is still flowing in. US-listed XRP spot ETFs recorded $14 million in inflows on Tuesday, up from $6 million the day before. Cumulative inflows now sit at $1.68 billion, with net assets averaging $1.44 billion.
XRP ETF flows have been surprisingly resilient. Money in the aggregate has mostly only gone one direction and now they have a total of $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows. Ripple also carried out its routine monthly escrow release, unlocking 1 billion XRP before returning 700 million XRP back into escrow. This is a scheduled supply event, though it tends to attract trader attention when price is already soft.
XRP Ledger Activity Stays Strong
On-chain data tells a different story from the spot price. Cumulative XRP Ledger transactions have crossed 3 billion, and on-chain volume has surged 200% even as the price cooled. Futures Open Interest has also ticked up slightly to 2.29 billion XRP.
From a technical standpoint, XRP is trading below its 200-day EMA at $1.35, which has now flipped into resistance. The RSI sits near 55, showing fading bullish momentum, while the MACD has slipped back into negative territory.
Key Price Levels to Watch
Support is clustered around the 50-day and 100-day EMAs near $1.22. A daily close below that level would signal buyers are losing control. On the upside, resistance stands at $1.35 and then $1.40.
Analyst account XRP Update posted on X that price is compressing near long-term trendline support. They noted that if support holds and XRP breaks above descending resistance, a move to $2.00 or higher comes back into focus, adding that confirmation of the breakout is key.
$XRP 8H SETUP IS GETTING INTERESTING.
Price is compressing near long-term trendline support after the recent rally.
If support holds and XRP breaks descending resistance, $2.00+ comes back into focus.
